Q: What is your first memory of hair? 

A: Getting Dorothy Hamill haircut in 3rd grade; I was proud of my new bowl-wedge look! 

Q: What is your favorite era or eras for hair? 

A: 1960's - Cat eyes, loads of lashes, tousled Brigitte Bardot bed-head, lots of volume at the crown, and Nico's bangs. 1970's - Feathered Farrah Fawcett hair. I idolized all of my babysitters; their feathered bangs and the combs they kept in their Sassoon jeans for touch-ups. 

Q: Who would be your dream client? 

A: I already have them! I feel so lucky to be able to do hair for clients I love every day. 

Q: Which other talent would you most like to have? 

A: To be able to sing. I am so tone deaf that I can't even sing in the shower. Alone. 

Q: Where do you look for inspiration? 

A: From the streets to the subways of NYC. Williamsburg, Brooklyn, where I live is effortlessly cool - admittedly too cool sometimes; natural, organic, lazy, edgy. I love all of the do's and don'ts on the subway.
