Q: What is your first memory of hair?
A: When I was a little kid and got nervous or too excited, I used to pet a fluffy stuffed animal or rug to calm myself down. I loved the feeling of hair or fur running through my fingers.
Q: What is your favorite era for hair?
A: Lately, I am liking things that have been influenced by the 1960's and 1970's. I'm interested to explore more about the hair, makeup, and fashion of this period like that of the rockers, bikers, hippies, and mods.
Q: Who would be your dream client?
A: My clients. I'm always happy to see them.
Q: What is another passion of yours?
A: I could be a travel agent. I'm very good at planning trips.
Q: Where do you look for inspiration?
A: Music, art, fashion, architecture, people, and nature. To keep my mind open, I find that traveling outside NYC helps. Each day at work, other stylists' work inspires me, too!
